Bad Idea! or How not to ....!
I was going through our stored photos when I came upon this one. I thought it would be interesting to ponder what sequence the items in the photo came into play.
Was the ingestion of Buffalo Trace before the idea of using an 85mm piston in the Trials Rooster's BSA Bantam, during or after? Is the use of the measuring devices really being considered? OR are the hammer and duct tape going to be the instruments of choice? Are we really going to use the air drill in the background and a sanding drum to enlarge the cylinder to accept the new Big bore piston? Or is it acceptable to take some assembly lube and that hammer and force fit it?
I have it...I remember now! We were toasting the success of the Bantam Big bore kit as well as new shiny flywheel weight!
That was it!....You believe that....don't you?

Personaly, I think it would be more fun to take some assembly lube and use a hammer to force fit it.............. I am not saying it would work the best, (or at all) but after the ingestion of the Buffalo Trace, it sure would be the MOST FUN.
